I still had the face I used as the basis for some other digital thing in a sketch book, so I turned it into this. I ran out of black pens and Dutchie the Cat was an art critic and walked all over it and smeared some of the pencils, I’ll assume she liked it in the end as she cuddled up on it before I came back in the room and kicked her off it it… So I left some of it as the original pens and pencils and redid the rest digitally in TwistedBrush.
It’s been hot in LA lately, which has left me unable to do much more than lay in bed in front of the fan. So today I tried to sketch something that Brian was *cough* asked to draw. I thought I’d try as it sounded more like my thing than his, but I forgot how bad I am at drawing anything beyond my girl faces. Couldn’t get the body right so I ended up just doing this one instead. Since it was supposed to be a dancer, I named this one Ready to Dance, because she would be, if I had gone with the original clothing scheme I had drawn… and if I could draw a body I was happy with in some kind of ballet pose
Ohh well at least I had fun sketching and broke out my pens and pencils.
