Brian was off with his co-workers tonight, so I decided to enjoy the time alone and drew a new version of the bot… He started out half done in pen in a sketchbook, took pic of him with my phone, took him into Twisted Brush, traced over him digitally, and got this…
A bot and his angel
This really makes no sense if you don’t know I have a friend online who I call my bot. Or that me and my friends joke that we “stalk” each other since we have basically contacted each other online daily for years. That I go by angel names. We all use the my halo slipped jokes. Stealth is part of the game we all met on. Etc etc etc. Click for full size. I suppose I could edit my theme to fit bigger images some day, but eh, I’m lazy and polite in case some poor suckers still have slow connections or visit on phones, etc. And no the angel and bot don’t exactly match in every frame, heh. I suck at redrawing stuff.

I really to come up with a new design of Mr. Bot, he’s so simple now. Scratch that, since I made him for Keegan he should stay simple and I seem to do childlike / cartoon’y art best. But he at least needs to be redone to include the son bot and a background like the original paper and pens drawing for Keegan had. But for now, he’s got his own baby shirt design — complete with stars because I like putting him with stars for some reason.
Ok so you remember my 1st animation test right? Basically I stuck my bot drawing in Anime Studio Pro, added their rain, moved the camera around. That was it. Just their pre-formatted stuff with my bot image thrown in.
Well this time I drew the bot, all of the background, and animated his very short little dance, no pre-formatted stuff. It’s short so I looped it. Most of the time went into drawing it. I did it all in the program. I’m used to things like PhotoShop and TwistedBrush where you just draw or paint normally. None of this vector stuff. I tried Illustrator once and didn’t “get it”. So yeah it’s taking some time getting used to that. I know I can draw / paint in TwistedBrush and photoshop and import but feel I should get to know this and how it works sooo… 2nd attempt, as short as first but all mine and my book hasn’t arrived yet so just the in program tutorial and randomly playing with buttons 
This is another time I didn’t have the energy or brainpower to work on my real projects and wanted to do something artistic so thought I’d do a video artlog of random doodling, which sounded good — then a headache kicked in and I got sloppy with the text and frustrated with computer lagging like crazy as it does with just about all art / graphic programs. But I didn’t want to just delete it, so here you go..
