Just some random sketches made in my paper sketchbook with colored pencils over the last few days.

The first and only painting I did based on a song before now was the One Headlight one – the song that reminds me of CynDee. Well I am indeed on a One Headlight spree with the anniversary of her death here. But I decided to add a few other songs in the mix – [...]

So this is how I spent my evening. There’s the original sketch, never did finish it. Took a pic of it, digitally drew over it in ArtRage. Took it into Gimp to play with coloring. Brian and I both agree – the darker coloring wins but he likes the lighter coloring too.

Testing out Sketchbook Pro now that I’m on Mac and Twisted Brush isn’t a Mac program.
