Sisters Red

Sisters Red

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? Not Scarlett that's for sure. Not one of them, not a pack of them. She's convinced that it is her duty to try to rid the world of them. As many of them as she can anyway. Because she knows of them and we do not. She, her sister Rosie, and their best friend Silas. They've had their lives turned upside down by them. They owe them revenge. They owe it to the world to be sure that no one else has to live as they do. But when they start to see an extraordinary amount of wolf activity and then overhear them discussing an aspect of the wolf culture that they'd never been aware of before Scarlett, Rosie, and Silas have their lives turned even more upside down than usual and will have to try to find a mysterious "Potential" wolf within a month or so to prevent the wolves from claiming a human as their own.

Sisters Red is a very good book. Being on the Kindle version I had to get online to see how many pages it was - 336? Really? It seems so much shorter. That's a good thing. It flies by.

There is one aspect of it that is VERY predictable, yet even that is still well done. I should say, it is predictable to us, the reader - it's very clear as to why it's not so predictable to the characters. There's a little of everything - action, loss, co-dependency (actually forget the co part, is tri-dependency a word?), hate, revenge, love, etc. You name it, it's all here. And yes, even a satisfying ending. 4/5 stars
